Island Lake Audio is a Cassette based Mixing, Mastering, Production and Design studio in Chicago, Il.

 

Island Lake Audio is **not** a duplication house - each and every cassette made here is a 1st generation master tape, printed to virgin tape Stock in real-time.

I use RTM Fox60 or Fox90 cassette tape stock exclusively to ensure durability, logetivity, consistency, and excellent sound quality.

I can handle every aspect of cassette production - Mastering, J-card layout, Label Design, Printing, Cutting, Folding, Assembly, and Heat Shrink are included with every order.

 

If you or someone close to you is a graphic designer, then I can provide templates so you can design the art for your project. If not, I can usually work from something like a bandcamp page!

Orders of up to 20 tapes are normally shipped within a week of Final Design and Master Approval - orders larger than 20 tapes may take longer, depending on availability of supplies.

Please take a listen to the audio examples on this page! What you're hearing is the sound of the finished cassette tape, imported directly off the cassette with no additional processing.
